Who Are The Pikes Peak Flyfishers?

About Us

The Pikes Peak Flyfishers (PPF) meet once a month at 7:00 PM on the first THURSDAY of the month at The Colorado State Parks and Wildlife Building 4255 Sinton Rd. Colorado Springs 80907. Membership includes all experience levels and newcomers to the sport are especially welcome.

A guest speaker is scheduled for each monthly meeting. The guests include fly fishing guides, fly shop owners and outfitters, who provide informative programs.  Their topics cover inside tips for fishing local waters and other western streams and lakes. Also included are fishing tips on fly selection, equipment selection, and more.

Door prizes are awarded at each monthly meeting. Door prizes are donated by PPF sponsors and members are encouraged to patronize our sponsors.

Upon membership you will receive a membership badge to be worn at the monthly meet ings. The badge will allow us to get to know you and you to get to know other PPF members. You will also receive access to the 'Members Only' section in the PPF website.

Fly tying classes, Casting Clinics, introductory fly fishing instruction and Club Trips  are scheduled throughout the year.  Exact time and location information can be accessed through the Events Page on our website.

The club publishes a monthly newsletter, the 'Pikes Peak Fly Fisher'. This newsletter provides valuable club related information to our members.  Articles included are from the President, Casting Program Director, Fly Tying Program Director and others.
